Project Description:

In my role as the Lead Game Designer and Product Owner for “Bear Hunt,” I orchestrated the development of a dynamic and immersive third-person action-adventure game tailored for PC and Mac gamers. This project involved several key components:

Creative Direction: I provided the creative vision for “Bear Hunt,” which featured a blend of action, adventure, and puzzle elements. The goal was to create an engaging gameplay experience that resonated with the PC and Mac gaming community.

Level Progression System: I oversaw the design and implementation of a linear map progression system. This system ensured that players embarked on a journey filled with challenges, puzzles, and quests, all seamlessly integrated into the game’s storyline.

Enemy Dynamics: To keep players on their toes, we incorporated event triggers that dynamically spawned different bear enemy types based on the player’s movement. This mechanic injected unpredictability and excitement into the gameplay, making each playthrough unique. 

Survival Gameplay: “Bear Hunt” required players to not only engage in combat but also strategize and survive the onslaught of enemies. Collecting keys to progress further into the game added an element of resource management and decision-making. 

Epic Boss Battle: The ultimate objective of the game was to engage players in an epic showdown against a giant bear boss. As the Product Owner, I ensured that this climactic battle was both challenging and rewarding, offering a memorable conclusion to the game. 

Role:

Throughout the development of "Bear Hunt," my role as the Lead Game Designer involved constant communication with the development team to refine gameplay mechanics, balance difficulty, and incorporate player feedback. This iterative approach, coupled with effective project management, contributed to the game's success and its appeal to PC and Mac gamers.
