Zombie Stole My Teddy

Project Description:

“Zombie Stole My Teddy” was another game project I worked on, but this time it was targeted for mobile devices, and I built it using Unity. The whole idea behind this game was to create something fun and lighthearted. In the game, you played as an overweight samurai child “Pudge” who finds himself in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and his favorite teddy bear is suddenly snatched by a mischievous little zombie.

The gameplay involved side-scrolling action and platforming. As the player, you had to navigate through different terrains, each with its own unique zombie enemies and challenges. All of this was in pursuit of that beloved teddy bear. Along the way, you’d encounter the ghost of your sensei, who would remind you to use special abilities you had forgotten. These abilities not only helped with player progression but also kept the combat system fresh and exciting.

The main goal of the game was to rid the world of the zombie invasion and, of course, get your teddy bear back. I handled everything related to the game’s design, art, animation, concept, and theme. However, I collaborated with a programming partner to bring the game to life. Together, we created an engaging and entertaining mobile game that combined humor and action, making it a unique and enjoyable experience for players.
